Under the auspices of the Center for European Studies and having as its headquarter the School of Economics, the Jean Monnet Module, co-financed by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program, ran between 2015 and 2018. The Module, whose general theme was “Theory and Policy in the formation of the European Union: a model for economic integration” (ThePoEU), marked the beginning of UFMG’s collaboration with the European Union in the promotion of teaching and research activities in the field of European integration studies.
