About Us
The Cultural Economics research group addresses issues pertinent to the application of theoretical models and methods to culture-related questions, such as culture consumption, audience perception, artists’ labor market, culture and innovation, museum economy, culture and territory, festival and local development, among other topics.
Since its creation, more than 15 studies have been published in national and international scientific journals or as chapters in national and international books, eight master’s and doctorate orientations and more than 20 graduation course completion orientations. Moreover, the group’s leader is an elected member of Association for Cultural Economics International (ACEI) and Rede Iberoamericana de Economia da Cultura (RIEC).
